PostBank staff overpaid
NZPA Wellington One Postßank employee with 38 years service is worried she might owe the bank $7OOO in overpaid salary, and a typist fears she might owe $3OOO. Recent Postßank job evaluations have found some people considerably overpaid and some underpaid. About a quarter of the 3600 full-time Postbank employees are affected.
Throughout New Zealand 138 had been classed as seriously overpaid. The management wrote last week to staff it says are overpaid, saying the workers would miss out on a 4 per cent wage increase due last week and backdated to November 10.
