The Air Transport Division of the Ministry of Transport, located at 1 Market Grove, Lower Hutt (Aviation House), has vacancies for the following positions. General Aviation Operation Inspectors Two General Aviation Operation Inspectors, both positions are located in Lower Hutt. Vacancy ATD 89/2 The successful applicant will supervise all aspects of General Aviation Operations with particular responsibilities for IFR activities. The applicant will be the holder of at least a current commercial pilot licence, instructor rating, (preferably A or B), an instrument rating and be single pilot qualified. 2000 hours as pilot in command is required and 1000 hours of this flight time should be in multi engined and gas turbine pressurised aircraft. Vacancy ATD 89/3 . The successful applicant will supervise all aspects of General Aviation Operations with particular responsibilities for helicopter and fixed wing agricultural operations. The applicant will be the holder of a current commercial pilot licence (A) & (H) together with a D & E category instructor rating. Being the holder of an instrument rating would be an advantage. Salaries for both positions will be in accordance with qualifications and experience.
