Warrant Officer Rob Stewart (right), of St Albans, receives his Long Service and Good Conduct Medal from the Deputy Chief of General Staff, Brigadier Graham Birch. The medal is awarded to soldiers of the regular force of the New Zealand Army who have completed 15 years full-time service, whose character and conduct have been irreproachable, and who are recommended for the award by their commanding officers. Warrant Officer Stewart enlisted in 1970. He works at the Support Branch at Defence Headquarters, Wellington.
