Qantas apologises

Qantas has severely reprimanded employees responsible for the late delivery to Fiji of a coffin containing the body of a Fiji Indian businessman who died in Australia five months after immigrating, the airline said. Jag Mohan Singh’s coffin was to have been taken from a Qantas jet at Nadi, Fiji, but instead travelled on to Papeete, Tahiti, and Los Angeles before being flown back across the Pacific.—Sydney.
