P.-West date set

The receivers of PrimeWest Corporation intend to oppose a winding up petition against the company, which is set down to be heard in the Christchurch High Court on May 22. The receiver, Mr Bert Bullen, of Peat Marwick’s Christchurch offices, said that the petition was being brought by NZI Bank. A hearing had been set down for Monday, but had been adjourned. Overseas parties had -expressed an interest in purchasing Prime-West and they were expected to visit New Zealand very shortly, he said.
