The position of Manager Service Development is a new executive position which results from a reorganisation within our National Office in Parnell. This senior appointment carries the responsibility for ongoing research, development and implementation of service aspects of the Foundation’s work throughout New Zealand. The appointee will report directly to the Chief Executive and requires an ability to interact with agencies and people at all levels. It is envisaged tertiary qualifications will be essential and a humanlstic/social science perspective is what is being sought. Research skills and experience in advocacy is desirable as is an ability to understand administrative and financial systems. A clear understanding of the issues facing the changing New Zealand society of today but with particular reference to bi-cultural development is a further requirement as is the ability to travel from the Auckland base. Salary and conditions will be discussed at interview.
