Le Due coasts to good win

Le Due, the runner-up to Arnsong at Addington last Wednesday and a winner at Forbury Park last Saturday, went even better in his third race for the week at Addington Raceway yesterday. The Prebbleton-trained gelding moved up sharply from the 700 m, went clear turning for home, and coasted to the line 3% lengths in front of the solid finishing runner-up, October Pride. Le Due, recording his tenth win (four penaltyfree) from 61 starts for owner, John Henderson, trotted the 2600 m in a smart 3:23.8, although the time was still over three seconds outside Nooky Bears freakish 3:20.4 effort for a C 5 trotter at Addington last August.
