The magazines in N.Z.

New Zealand computer magazines were not mentioned in a recent ‘Start here’ article by Jordan de Leete. This was because the article had to be cut

to fit the space available. New Zealand has three monthly computer maga- • “Interface,” which began as the official or-

gan of the Computer Society, and traditionally was the most technical of the New Zealand publications. ® “Bits and Bytes,” which has always been for microcomputers. It was set up in Christchurch aimed at all personal computer users, but catering then largely for smallbusiness, professional, and home users. The business community now makes up a large part of its target market. ® “Computer Scene” was established in Christchurch about the same time. Like “Bits and Bytes” it is now published in Auckland. “Computer Scene” aims to cover the whole computing scene, with the emphasis on business users.
