Johnson ‘will not run’
NZPA-Reuter Ottawa The Canadian Government said that the disgraced sprinter Ben Johnsonn, will not be allowed to run for his country in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Juan Antonio Samaranch, the president of the International Olympic Committee, had said Johnson would be welcome at the next Olympics following his two-year suspension. However, the Sports Minister. Jean Charest, said Johnson will not run for Canada again.
