Spotlight on Smeg appliances this week
Smeg appliances are this week’s feature product at Cooking Appliance Expo ’B9.
Smeg appliances are available in stylish white and brown, perfect for integrated kitchens.
The wall oven has four versatile cooking functions within the one unit: conventional heat, with top and bottom elements; true convection with a fan-forced hot air cooker; the conventional grill and the fan grill. Compactness and elimination of waste space are one of the outstanding features of the oven. Most have self-cleaning liners. The ovens do not need to be vented outside. The hobs are also compact and have the controls integrated into the same
panel, allowing greater utilisation of bench space. All appliances fit. flush with the joinery, with no ugly edges protruding. The price is a pleasant surprise too — they cost no more than five per cent more than the local product.
The highlights of Expo ’B9 this week are: • Demonstrations of Smeg appliances, Panasonic microwaves and small appliances on Thursday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. • Super prizes can be won during the whole Expo, with giveaways too. The major prize will be a dream kitchen worth $lO,OOO. This could be an entire kitchen and appliances to that value,
or include a refund on purchases made during the Expo. • Listen to Classic Hits Radio Avon each morning for the five daily winners of the Worst Cook In Christchurch competition. • Saturday, April 22, 10 a.m. Cook-off for the five daily winners of the Worst Cook In Christchurch.
