Response pleases

Canterbury schools are delighted with the number of people who have sought nomination for boards of trustees.

Many of the schools surveyed yesterday reported more than 10 nominations for the five parent places on their boards. All of the schools re-

ported at least six nominations, meaning that an election would be required. Elmwood Normal

School had 28 parent nominations, Aranui School 19, Belfast 16, Thorrington about 15 (awaiting final checks), Gilberthorpe 14, and Loburn 12.
