Cannabis recovered
PA Wellington Summer’s national police air search for cannabis has recovered more than 81,000 plants. The police have arrested more than 130 people. With further flying searches scheduled, the season looks like a bumper one, the police say.
Each spring, police headquarters allocates flying time among New Zealand’s six police districts, using military or leased civilian helicopters.
