Police uncover arsenal
Police called to a Bethells Beach property where shots were being fired into bush found a small arsenal, including pistols and an automatic rifle. Twenty weapons of various makes and calibre were taken from the house and the police said they also found a small quantity of cannabis. Senior-Sergeant Roger Sergeant of Henderson said no-one was endangered in the shooting spree that prompted neighbours to call the police about 1 p.m. yesterday. Two men still firing when officers arrived were arrested and would appear in the Henderson District Court today.— p:a.
