Japan schools lose

PA Oamaru The touring All Japan secondary schools rugby side opened its five-match tour of New Zealand on a losing note when it went down to a St Kevin’s College invitation XV, 30-25, in Oamaru yesterday. The All Japan XV struck tough opposition, the invitation side being virtually the same team which last season defeated the touring Scottish secondary schools side. The invitation side led, 16-9, at half-time.
