MAFFish Notice of Competitive Tender for Leases of Individual Transferable Quota from the Crown TENDER NO. FISH 89/001 The Minister of Fisheries, pursuant to section 28T of the Fisheries Act 1983, advises that a tender for leases of 9750 tonnes of the species Squid, in area 6T, for the balance of the fishing year ended 30 September 1989, began on 18 March 1989 and Closes at 5.00 pm on 31 March 1989. This is the second public notice inviting tenders, the first of which was placed in this paper on 18 March 1989. TENDER NO. FISH 89/002 Pursuant to Section 28T of the Fisheries Act 1983, the Minister of Fisheries invites tenders for leases of 185 tonnes of individual transferable quota for the species Orange Roughy in quota management area 1 for the balance of the fishing year ended 30 September 1989. To give effect to this invitation, the Minister advises that a tender for leases of the above Orange Roughy will open on 30 March 1989 and will close at 5.00 pm on 14 April 1989. All bids for the above tenders shall be submitted on the form headed "New Zealand Government, Tender for Leases of Individual Transferable Quotas" provided by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and available from the following places and offices:a) Registry offices of MAFFish in Whangarei, Auckland, Tauranga, Napier, Nelson, Greta Point, Head Office, Christchurch, Dunedin and Invercargill. b) New Zealand Fishing Industry Board, 74 Cambridge Terrace, Wellington.
