Eight in first grade
Eight New Zealanders have been included in first grade teams for this week-end’s opening round of the ■ New South Wales rugby league premiership. The scrum-halves, Clayton Friend (North Sydney) • and Gary Freeman (Balmain), will mark each other at; North Sydney Oval today, and Dane Sorensen (Cronulla) and Brent Todd (Canberra) are to be front-row ' rivals at Cronulla tomorrow. Also in first grade sides ‘ are the Eastern Suburbs team-mates, Hugh McGahan > and Kurt Sherlock, Dairell Williams (Manly) and Sam ! Stewart (Newcastle). McGahan and Stewart will captain their clubs.
