Pre-season training is carried out during February and March each year, each Monday, Wednesday and Thursday between 5.30 p.m. and 7 p.m. and-each Sunday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. During the rugby season training continues during those same times. The rugby season occurs between the beginning of April and the end of September each year. The applicant’s senior teams play each Saturday, usually at 1.10 p.m. or 2.45 p.m. In addition the club’s premier team can play on Wednesday evenings and Sundays. The Club premises are used by club members and their guests, to meet and socialise after rugby games and training sessions. The club licence is sought to allow the sale of liquor on such occasions. The sale of liquor at the applicant’s clubrooms will be incidental to the principal activities described herein. Any person who wishes to object to the issue of a licence to the applicant may, not later than 14 days after the first publication of this notice file notice of his or her objection and the grounds thereof with the Secretary of the Licensing Control- Commission.
