As such, the appointment of a suitable Publicity Officer for our Jet Division is a key element in our domestic and international marketing plan. The person we seek should be an experienced, all-round publicity professional, preferably in the 25-40 age group. Expertise in any one or more of the following is preferred — graphic design, engineering design, public relatlons/journalistic skills, video/ photographic skills, printing — but an understanding of all these areas is essential. Familiarity with desk-top publishing systems would be an added advantage. The successful candidate will have considerable input into our promotion plan and be totally responsible for its execution and expenditure control, including liaison with our advertising agency. The Publicity Officer reports to the Marketing Manager and will be responsible for a staff of one person.
