Motor-cycle gremlins
John Britten’s unique motor-cycle, designed and built in Christchurch, made a brief foray into the spotlight at Daytona Speedweek in Florida last week-end. Competing in Battle of the Twins (pro-twins in U.S.) the machine, ridden by Gary Goodfellow, completed just two laps before retiring from electrical and fuel injection related gremlins yet again. Goodfellow was holding second place before his forced retirement. The machine has been plagued with electrical problems since its inception.
Britten has been keen to use New Zealand products wherever possible in his Vee-twin four-stroke powered motorcycle.
