Flight crew to strike
PA Auckland Air New Zealand cabin crew say they will ground the airline for 24 hours on March 31 in a dispute involving staffing levels and duty times on the new Boeing 747-400 airliner. The stoppage will be within a few days of the pilots’ planned stopwork meetings throughout New Zealand.
The secretary of the Stewards and Hostesses’ Union, Mr Tom Downey, said notice of industrial action had been lodged,
