‘Undiscovered’ stars sought for TV show
PA Auckland Your face is worth a board game — or so Television New Zealand believes. It is looking for people to fill its “home viewer” slot in the 30-minute game show, “Sale of the Century,” beginning in
April. Part of the show will have a “Fame Game” segment with photographs of eight well-known people on a board. TVNZ wants a ninth picture to be of an undiscovered Kiwi. Stardom is short-lived, as the faces are all replaced after each show.
It will run five nights a week, hosted by Steve Parr and Judith Kirk, and will be New Zealand’s richest quiz. Contestants answering general knowledge questions will accumulate points to buy spot prizes during the show or vie for a big prize at the end.
