The position will involve a full range of typing, reception and secretarial duties. The desired skills and qualifications are (i) a typing qualification to TCBII or equivalent; (ii) ability to use a dictaphone, electronic typewriter and word processor; (hi) ability to work well with clients and staff; (iv) good communication skills. A practical knowledge and experience, of DEC’S VMS operating system, PC-DOS for the IBM-PC AT, “C” programming language and of general image analysis methodology is required.
