The position entails, consultation and assessment work in the Canterbury and/or Westland area. The person should be experienced in the assessment of abused children, be able to work with individuals and families, be prepared to give expert evidence at court hearings, have worked with multidisciplinary teams and be sensitive to working with different cultural groups. The minimum qualification is a Masters Degree or equivalent with a post masterate qualification preferred and eligibility for registration as a psychologist. Hours of work are negotiable and could be full time or part time. The position is reviewable annually.
