The complex comprises theatre, exhibition and conference facilities administered by the Northland Community Trust on behalf of the Whangarei City Council. The Director of Forum North is a high community profile position and has responsibility for coordinating, managing and promoting the Forum North Complex. This includes managing “Friends of Forum North” and the Youth Theatre. The Director of Forum North is a divisional head in the Community Activities Department, and is also responsible to the Northland Community Trust in matters of policy and artistic direction.
