Sir,—l. J. Cunningham (February 22) wants Sir Robert Muldoon as the National Party’s finance spokesman. Your correspondent says Jim Bolger’s alternative is to step down and accept the verdict of the polls. In 1984 Sir Robert stood down, but did he accept the verdict of the polls?
