Huge drug haul
Law enforcement officials believe they have uncovered a major Chinese drug connection with the seizing of a billion dollars of heroin and the arrest of a millionaire Chinatown businessman. More than 100 anti-drug agents seized 370 kg of heroin and arrested 45 people in the United States and abroad in a sweep officials said was broader than the famed “French Connection” drug bust of the early 19705. — New York.
