Lochore succumbs

PA Wanganui A former All Black, Brian Lochore, went down fighting in two close sets to fellow Wairarapa player, 40-year-old Kevin Inder, in the semi-finals of the men’s tennis singles on the third day of the inaugural New Zealand Masters Games in Wanganui. Cantabrian Marty Sinclair, aged 31, finished the over-all winner in the wind surfing after adding the slalom gold medal to his bronze medal of the previous day in '.the funboard section. Competitors reached speeds of 20 knots on the downwind beats.
