Summer Times
The Summer Times “Do Something Different Day” in North Hagley Park at midday tomorrow will give people the opportunity to have a go at all sorts of activities. People are invited to come to the park and
have a go or look at activities including kite flying, Tai Chi, dog obedience, marching, archery, pottery, caving and lots more. All-day entertainment will be provided by a Christchurch juggler, Mr Moon, who will hold workshops after his performance, and Chisel, an Irish band from Dublin. A local group, Dolphin, will also provide entertainment, along with a reggae group, I and I. Natural Magic will organise the annual Summer Times Pirate Battle between members of Alt’s Imperial Army and a yet-to-be-announced opposition.
