“It’s nice to be back with the family,” he said. Mr Girling-Butcher broke his neck while hooking in a junior sixthgrade rugby match in July last year. A national fund-raising campaign, organised by his rugby club, raised $65,000. The money will go towards alterations on the family’s new Palmerston North home, which they hope to move into in, two or three months.
