From TONY VERDON in London The majority shareholder in NZI, Scotland’s General Accident, has not been buying a larger stake in the New Zealand firm. Millions of NZI shares have changed hands in the last
week, but a GA spokesman said they were not being purchased by his company. GA already holds a 51 per cent stake in NZI, which could increase to 60 per cent once the results of the current share issue were known.
