Police hunt for killer
The police in New South Wales are looking for the killer of a former New Zealander who was to appear in court on sex charges. The battered body of Paul Kenneth Hodges, aged 61, was found in his flat in Kempsey in northern N.S.W. last week-end. Hodges was due to appear in court this week to answer charges of sexually assaulting a boy, aged 12. The Kempsey police said Hodges arrived in Australia 15 years ago from New Zealand where he had a police record which included charges for theft and assault. —PA.
