In-form Fowler Brian Fowler continued his top time trialing form by recording the fastest time in the Canterbury Recreational Cycling Club’s 16km time trial on the Old Tai Tapu Road on Tuesday evening. Fowler covered the distance in 22min 325, ahead of Carl Crowe who went through the clock second fastest in 23min 04s. Les Jones was easily the fastest veteran with a time of 24min 595, well ahead of Andrew Cudworth. Andrew Nye and Eian Penwell sliced 33s off their fastest tandem ride recording a time of 23min 10s.
