NZPA-AAP Sydney Charlie Yankos, the Greece-based Socceroo team shipper, expects to be available for Australia s opening World Cup second round encounter with New Zealand in Sydney on March 12 “Yankos phoned me this morning and a [ fi s med hls 'commitment to be available for the match," said a delighted naUonal coach, Frank Arok. “Naturally I am extremely happy, as he has had so much experience with the Socceroos. To date the. stout defender, currently playing with Paok Salonika, has worn the green and gold on 74 occasions, 39 of which were full international games. Australia has to settle its World Cup squad during two forthcoming matches against Sweden’s champion, Malmo FF on February 17 and 22.
