Crowley was a late scratching on veterinary advice from the Craddocks Service Station Mobile Pace at the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s meeting on Monday. Murray Edmonds, the trainer of Peterman, was fined $lOO for an unauthorised change of gear on this horse, while J. R. Millier, the trainer of Mysterious, was fined $5O for a late notification under the seven-day rule. Lentille, Monsey and Nod’s Delight have been stood down from racing until they trial ‘twice to the satisfaction of the stewards.
