Appeal to witnesses
The Ministry of Transport is appealing to two youths who saw an incident in Mairehau Road last Friday to come forward. A green Chrysler Valiant was driven the wrong way down Mairehau Road and the driver tried to run over a traffic officer near Daytona Place about 12.40 a.m. Two youths saw the incident but left before traffic officers could speak to them.
