Apple Board appointments
Mr Con van der Voort, of Otago, and Mr John Altham, of Hamilton, have been appointed grower members of the New Zealand Apple and Pear Marketing Board. Mr van der Voort, who came to New Zealand from the Netherlands in 1960, has a pipfruit orchard in Ettrick, Central Otago. Mr Altham has a pipfruit, kiwifruit and stonefruit orchard in Hamilton.
Mr John Paynter, a Hastings orchardist and businessman, is the new Government representative on the board.
