Invercargill farmer killed
PA Invercargill An Invercargill farmer was killed when his car and a van towing a caravan collided north-east of Invercargill about 1.30 p.m. yesterday. He was Cecil Wilson Erskine, aged 67. Mr Erskine was travelling towards Invercargill when he went into the
gravel on the side of the road and apparently lost control, said SeniorSergeant Paul Brown of the Invercargill police. The car was then involved in a collision with the van, which was travelling in the opposite direction. The three occupants of the van suffered minor injuries.
