Bad back eased by A.C.C.
PA Wellington A former Wellington watersider, aged 52, who suffered a back strain has had his compensation increased $3OOO to the maximum of $lO,OOO by the Accident Compensation Appeal Authority. The man was injured at work three years ago. The Authority, Judge Middleton, said the man could not work and was unable to sit, for any length of time Not enough weight had been given by the Accident Compensation Corporation to the man’s loss of the amenities of life.
