Tunnel victim named
The police have released the name of a woman who was killed in a car accident in the Lyttelton road tunnel on Boxing Day. She was Corrina Miller, aged 26, of Merivale. The accident occurred when the car she was a passenger in collided with an oncoming vehicle and bounced against the tunnel wall. The driver of the car the woman was in, Floyd Raymond Rudolf, was yesterday in the intensivecare ward of Christchurch Hospital where he was being treated for serious injuries.
The driver of the other car escaped injury.
