Super Impose wins Summer Cup
NZPA-AAP Sydney The New Zealand jockey, Shane Dye, continued his great form with victory in the SAustl 00,000 Summer Cup (2400 m on the smart Melbourne galloper. Super Impose, at Randwick on Monday. Dye, who scored a treble at Rosehill on December 17, picked up his second double in 16 days and probably his best victory with Super
Impose. The 13-8 favourite came from seventh at the turn to score by two lengths from the Christmas Cup runner-up Moniuszko (33-1) with the pacemaker, Brentano (401) 2 j /2 lengths away third. Dye was quick to praise Super Impose after the victory. "He is the best stayer I’ve ever ridden,” he said, without hesitation.
