PR accreditation
Two Christchurch public relations personnel have passed the Public Relations Insitute of New Zealand’s (PRINZ) accreditation examinations. Mrs Sue Rickerby, of Agenda Consultants (formerly the Christchurch office of Hill and Knowlton), and Miss Gillian Wess, the Christchurch City Council’s promotions director, join three othrs who achieved PRINZ’S accredited member status after passing
the organisation’s annual examinations.
PRINZ’S chief examiner, Mr Joseph Peart, said in a statement that accreditation involved five years full-time experience in the industry, and more than a 60 per cent average mark for the examination.
Membership by examination had become the only way to full status in the profession since 1985.
