The Rural Bank and Financing Corporation's profit was 543.5 M in the six months to September 30. Interest income of 5265.3 M, less interest expenses of 5196.4 M, gave a gross margin of 568.9 M. Other income of SI.9M raised total income to $70.8M from which trading expenses of 520.4 M and doubtful debts and taxation of 56.9 M were deducted.
Linfox post
The Linfox Group, Australia’s leading transport and warehousing operation has appointed Mr Ron Wood as general manager, New Zealand. Mr Wood will take up his appointment in midJanuary with the prime responsibility of establishing and developing the Linfox operation in New Zealand. He will be based in Auckland.
