Trade visit
Moscow will send an envoy to Seoul in January to discuss South Korea’s role in Soviet business, including possible loans, a trade official said. The Soviet Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s deputy chairman, Vladamir Golanov, is due in Seoul on January 23. South Korea and the Soviet Union agreed this month to exchange trade offices to promote direct commerce despite a lack of formal ties.—Seoul.
