Miss Madonna rehandicapped
Miss Madonna has been rehandicapped Ikg for the Wairio Cup today after her win at the Otago Racing Club’s meeting at Wingatui on Saturday. Miss Madonna held off Vamos A Beber by a nose on Saturday when carrying 56.5 kg over 2200 metres in a C2 race. She has 54kg in a Cl event at the Wairio Jockey Club’s meeting to-
day. Miss Madonna held her form to win four in a row about this time last year. Russell McAra retains the mount today. He gave her the run of the race behind pacemaker, Share Offer, on Saturday with Vamos A Beber three places back on the inner. Galloping Gourmet ran on from back in the field for third in a gap.
