Leading prices
The top individual growers’ price at yesterday’s Timaru wool sale was 2600 c a kilogram for four bales of 17.4 micron Merino woolly hogget with a yield of 67.6 from J. R. Innes, of Waihaorunga. Mr Innes also sold three bales of 18.2 micron wether at 1849 c (70). Other leading prices included:— Merino Birchwood Run, Ltd (Omarama), eight bales woolly hogget, 17.9 m, 75.6, 2350 c, 10 bales 18.1 m, 72.6, 2100 c, and 14 bales 18.1 m ewe, 75.8, 2060 c; Mt White station (Arthurs Pass), seven bales woolly hogget, 18.2 m, 67.1, 1950 c, and 11 bales 18.9 m, 67.8 1671 c; Tim Innes (Omarama), 16 bales wether, 18.8 m, 71.5, 1856 c, and 26 bales 19.6 m, 71.6, 1580 c; J.
