Broadly speaking, duties will be to care for resources stored in the Laboratory, and to assist language teaching staff and students to make use of them. Applicants should be conversant with at least one language other than English from among those taught in the University. A degree qualification in such lanwould be appropriate. Interest in computer assisted learning for language students would be an advantage, and applicants should have the particular ability to make a contribution to the development of resources in German. Some familiarity with French would be useful, as would librarianship skills. Appointment will be for one year in the first instance.
