Fan ovens are versatile
Shacklock and Atlas, New Zealand’s two leading electric ranges, are both carried by Noel Leeming’s. In both brands, one of the most popular types is the fan oven. It has been on the market for a number of years, but is still a strong seller because of the many advantages it offers. One of the main benefits for busy cooks is the fan oven’s ability to cook a variety of foods, in any position in the oven, all at the same tiipe. Also, because it cooks at lower temperatures, it is
more pleasant to work with, particularly in hot weather, and is easier to keep clean. This is because there is less likelihood of splatters. The fan oven is versatile too. It offers you the option of grill, fan grill, defrost, bake and fan bake. Both Atlas and Shacklock fan ovens are available in a variety of models with either four plate hob top or smooth ceramic cook top. The top model in the Atlas range is an electronic fan oven with ceramic cook top which comes with or without a separate grill. Shacklock’s top model is a
combination multi-function fan oven and microwave. Colours available are sierra, all white, almond and shadow white. And while you may be cooking all sorts of tempting dishes in your oven, you won’t want the cooking smells all round the house. The most efficient method of removing cooking odours and fumes is a range hood mounted over your cooker. Noel Leeming’s has a full selection of range hoods in 600 mm and 900 mm sizes, in a variety of colours and styles.
