No overflows with Gio-Tub
How often has your laundry tub overflowed because the plug was left in, or a stray item of washing blocked the plug hole? Maybe too often! But that tiresome possibility can now be eliminated with the Everhard Gio-Tub. This practical tub has been designed with an ingenious patented outlet to handle two lots of water through a combined overflow and bypass system. The overflow system safeguards against accidental flooding with an overflow outlet which lets extra water run into the plumbing in-
stead of spilling on to the floor. The multiflow bypass system allows the water from your washing machine to bypass the tub bowl through the special outlets, avoiding any chance of flooding because of too much water entering the tub. This also means you can use your tub while the washing machine is in use. By plugging the tub and placing the washing machine suds hose into it, you can save your suds too. Excess sudsy water will escape through the overflow system. The Gio-Tub can be in-
stalled with either left or right outlets to suit the position of your washing machine. The tub also has a size advantage. With a 45 litre capacity, the Gio-Tub is larger than the conventional laundry tub. It is also less expensive to instal. However, if you are quite happy with your present tub, why not consider replacing your taps with a Gio-Tub Tap Console? With its swivel spout, the console will suit either left or right hand washing machine installations, and requires little or no struc-
tural or plumbing alterations. The bowl of the Gio-Tub is made from an engineering grade plastic that won’t chip and is resistant to staining and fading. It is available in grey, white and fawn to co-ordi-nate with Hoover, Shacklock and Simpson laundry products. The storage cabinet is white. Noel Leeming’s is the only retail appliance chain in New Zealand to stock the Gio-Tub, which is distributed by Plumbers Limited.
