Dairies robbed
Two Christchurch city dairies were hit in raids believed to be linked early yesterday. An unknown quantity of cigarettes were taken from a dairy in -Rutland Street about 4.20 a.m. and from the Springfield Road dairy, minutes later, the police said. A stolen white Holden was used in the burglaries, it was recovered by the police about 6 a.m.
