Isle sold for $1M
PA Blenheim Kenny’s Isle in Pelorus Sound has been sold for more than $1 million. Previously known as Pohuenui, the 2100 ha peninsula property was sold to a New Zealand buyer immediately before an auction which was to have been held in Nelson on November 4. The crowd of about 500 which gathered for the auction included a solicitor representing the buyer. The vendors bought Kenny’s Isle for $27.50 a hectare 20 years ago.
